Located on the outskirts of Cheviot in North Canterbury, Ridgeway is a 330-hectare working farm of rolling hills and fertile flats. We run sheep and cattle alongside seasonal cropping and winter grazing, offering a true taste of rural New Zealand.

About Us
Having owned this beautiful farm for a few years, their deep love for the region is undeniable. The ever-changing light over the hills and mountains surrounding the property provides a fresh perspective on the landscape every day. Rupert is immersed in the tech world, running his own 3D & Augmented Reality company, while Anna dedicates her time to supporting the farm and fundraising and marketing support for Cholmondeley Children’s Centre. Lyndon Wallace is the farm manager onsite, keeping the operations running smoothly, supported by Sarah and their two children.

Perched in the heart of Cheviot, 120km north of Christchurch along the Alpine Pacific Triangle between Christchurch and Kaikōura, Ridgeway is a haven of natural beauty and rural charm. This picturesque region is not only home to rolling hills and open landscapes but also boasts a vibrant local scene, with inviting cafés, inspiring art galleries, and esteemed wineries that offer a taste of the district’s character. As dusk settles, the sky above Ridgeway transforms into a celestial masterpiece. With no light pollution to interfere, the Milky Way stretches across the heavens, while the Southern Cross and distant galaxies shine with breathtaking clarity. The vast, open horizons create an unparalleled stargazing experience, drawing you into the wonder of the universe.
Produce
At Ridgeway Produce, we are dedicated to quality and sustainability. Alongside cultivating premium produce, we proudly graze livestock for other family farms Kaiwara & Monowai. We also grow and supply top-quality cattle and sheep to Harris Farms locally and Alliance. By working in harmony with the land—utilizing rich soils, fresh air, and pure water—we ensure that every product we deliver meets the highest standards. Our commitment to excellence supports local communities while maintaining a deep respect for nature.
